The miniDSP UMIK-1 (latest version 2!) is an omnidirectional calibrated USB-C measurement microphone (electret condenser microphone) and an absolute all-rounder.


The measuring microphone already has an integrated sound card and therefore only needs to be connected to the PC via USB-C and works completely independently, so that there are guaranteed to be no measurement inaccuracies caused by the PC sound card.

Product details

The UMIK-1 is a plug & play measurement microphone developed by miniDSP. The UMIK-1 is perfect for acquiring frequency response data, or for designing loudspeakers, for measuring room modes / room correction or for Carhifi and home theater calibration and many other acoustic measurement applications. The miniDSP UMIK-1 is recommended by Dirac Live and REW.

The microphone is powered via USB-C and has a 24-bit ADC. This means no preamp or sound card is required. Thanks to the USB Audio Class 1 interface, all common operating systems and acoustic measurement software are supported without drivers. Each microphone comes with an individual calibration file that ensures a flat frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
