Beschreibung
The Sundown Audio SA series, also the Sundown Audio SA18 v.2 is Sundown Audio's top-selling series! The new v.2 version offers a larger, more powerful motor to drive the larger 2.75" coil and stronger centering - this maintains the perfect balance of the original SA series while increasing the power handling to 1000 watts RMS.
The Sundown Audio SA18 v.2 has a linear deflection (XMAX) of 19 mm which just over 35mm x-mech. The motor also features a large magnet ID shorting ring (Faraday ring) to reduce distortion caused by inductance and inductance variations across the stroke.
The 18-inch model features a larger motor than the SA-10/12/15 v2 at 205mm diameter and 60mm gap height. It has a large 234mm diameter spider package for very high mechanical travel capacity. It uses the same 2.75″ coil as the other SA v.2 series subwoofers for a rated power of 1000 watts RMS.
