    The  Power Tuned 9515k ESP, a high performance 15" subwoofer from DD Audio. This subwoofer redefines power and control by using a Carbon Fiber Blend Cone (CFB) to provide the optimal strength to weight ratio. The unit also integrates Vario-Density Extended Range of Motion Surround (V-ROM) for ultimate linear control and dynamic sounding bass reproduction. It also features a Tuned Spider System (TSS) that produces specific performance characteristics. With its high RMS power handling of 2000 watts and peak power of 8000 watts, this subwoofer delivers exceptional sound. A Supercharge option is also available for those looking for even tighter and clearer bass performance across the entire power spectrum.

    The SuperCharge option

    • With the Supercharge option, you'll hear even tighter, cleaner bass across the entire power range.
    • What exactly happens when you SuperCharge? By adding a specially shaped neodymium shorting ring on a flush cut pole piece, with the opposite polarity facing down, you redirect otherwise lost magnetic energy into the voice coil gap. This increases the usable motor power by 20-25%, allowing smaller, lighter motors to have the same driving energy as larger motors.
    • You can't drive a SuperCharged sub with more power, and the SPL won't increase, but you'll hear a cleaner output at higher levels. SuperCharged subwoofers use the power you give them more efficiently, but you still have the same heat dissipation and the same voice coil area. This means the power handling is the same as the standard model.
