Control at the push of a button

Matrio™ gives you complete control over each of your eight output zones. Through the "Zone Control" menu, you can adjust all possible zone settings, including turning on/off, source selection, volume control, and mute. Additional features are available for each zone, including bass, treble, and left/right balance. Matrio™ has an easy-to-use interface that allows you optimized control of your DAX88.

Control everything at once

In addition to individual zone control, Matrio™ offers the ability to group multiple zones for optimized control. Through the "Group Control" menu, all possible zone settings can be adjusted, including turning on/off and muting. Volume levels and input sources in grouped zones can also be synchronized through the menu. Select any combination of zones from all DAX88 devices in your network for a custom group control.

Adjustment of zone and source names

"Adjust all your source, zone, and device names to ensure you can quickly identify zones and inputs. Name each of the eight zones to track which zone you are currently controlling. Custom zone names help in grouping zones to ensure you select the correct zone combination. The custom names, which can be changed at any time, appear in Matrio™ for all users in your network."

With a dedicated Wi-Fi channel, the DAX88 allows you to stream your favorite music directly from your preferred streaming service via AirPlay, Spotify Connect, and DLNA. With access to streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn, you have the musical world at your fingertips. For Amazon Music and other streaming services, additional hardware and/or a paid subscription may be required when using Android devices. Analog input options, including four RCA, seven 3.5mm, and two optical connections, ensure that you can use practically any input source from TVs to media players to additional Bluetooth adapters.

The flexibility of the DAX88 outputs allows you to select your speaker system or integrate the DAX88 into an existing design. With six stereo amplifier zones and two stereo pre-amplifier zones, the DAX88 gives you the option to use any speaker combinations as well as additional amplifiers. When using the pre-amplifier zones with different amplifiers, such as 70V amplifiers for commercial use, the DAX88 provides instant app-controlled and Wi-Fi streaming options for your 70/100V audio system.
