The SMD HLC-2 High End High-Low Adapter is incomparable to any other high-low adapter on the market. It is used for audio transmission of the radio signal from a factory radio to your aftermarket amplifiers, and it does this better than any other on the market. It is not just a simple high-low adapter; it contains a signal processor that processes the incoming and outgoing signals to achieve the least interference and noise-free, as well as linear audio signal possible. This is the solution that the car audio world has been waiting for.

CONNECT AMPLIFIER TO YOUR FACTORY RADIO
- The HLC-2 is generally used to bridge the gap between factory audio systems and aftermarket audio amplifiers. With its ability to handle a BTL audio signal of up to 40 V RMS, it is suitable for all situations.
SMALL ENOUGH AND EFFICIENT ENOUGH FOR ANY VEHICLE
- The HLC-2 is the cleanest, smallest, and lightest active speaker level to RCA level converter. Installation is as simple as securing it with a few cable ties through the built-in slots for cable ties. It is so small and consumes so little power that it can also be used on motorcycles, side-by-side vehicles, golf carts, scooters, and similar vehicles. It is only slightly larger than a deck of playing cards and consumes 1.02 watts (80 mA at 12.6 V).
LARGE ENTRANCE AND LARGE CLEAN EXIT
- The HLC-2 can accept a BTL audio signal of up to 40 V RMS and output a single-ended output signal of up to 10 V RMS with a super low output impedance of 100 Ohms and a THD+N value of less than 0.003 %.
CAN ALSO BE USED AS A DRIVER OR PHASE INVERTER
- The HLC-2 can output a single-ended output signal of up to 10 V RMS with an extremely low output impedance of 100 Ohms. This capability is so strong that it can still output 9 V RMS even when driving 10 amplifiers. Just solder a few RCA jacks to the high-level input wires and you have a great line driver.
Why would I need a phase inverter?
- If you have two identical half-bridge amplifiers (like our E-Series subwoofer amplifiers), you could route the signal from the pass-through RCA jacks of the first amplifier to the high-level input of the HLC-2 (with RCA jacks that you solder to the high-level inputs, with reversed polarity) and then use the output of the HLC-2 for the second amplifier. This way, you can connect the two amplifiers together or wire them in series.
