The Mosconi AERO8|12DSP from Gladen offers a variety of inputs and outputs for maximum flexibility. On the input side, the DSP features 8 x RCA (Cinch) inputs that can switch between high and low level and are equipped with Autosense. Additionally, it provides 4 freely selectable channels as prioritizable Autofade or Aux, an optical S/PDIF input, and a digital COAX connection. Notably, the BT slot is used for the ATOM mixer menu. On the output side, there are 12 x RCA analog outputs and 1 x S/PDIF optical output that can be freely assigned and volume controlled.

What technical advantages does the BT Plus Port of the Mosconi AERO8|12DSP offer?

The BT Plus Port on the Mosconi AERO8|12DSP enables seamless integration with the latest BARNIE calibration system. This supports improved acoustic calibration and leads to a significant sound enhancement in the vehicle. Through this interface, the system can connect up to 16 channels, allowing for flexible and customizable use of the DSP. The active Over-ALL-Bias functions also help minimize distortion across the entire dynamic range, which is particularly beneficial for discerning audiophiles.

What features does the equalizer of the Mosconi AERO8|12DSP offer?

The Mosconi AERO8|12DSP features a fully parametric 30-band equalizer, which is also graphically usable and offers an adjustment range of +12 to -12 dB. The Q value is adjustable between 0.5 and 40, allowing for extremely precise sound profile adjustments. The fixed channels include the front (1 to 6) and rear (9 + 10), while channels 7 + 8 and 11 + 12 can be freely assigned, either for front, rear, sub, or center. This versatility allows for individually tailored sound preferences for each user.

What filter options does the Mosconi AERO8|12DSP offer and how flexible are they?

The Mosconi AERO8|12DSP offers an extensive filter palette per channel that is freely configurable. Available are high-pass, low-pass, shelf, notch, all-pass, and peak EQ filters with slopes ranging from 6 to 120 dB/octave, as well as variable Q, time, and level control.
