Zeus ZX6.2C by Hifonics

The Zeus series, which includes the Hifonics Zeus ZX6.2C 6.5-inch speaker set, has stood for power and excellent sound in the Hifonics lineup for many years. For the first time, in addition to component systems and coaxials, individual components such as high-quality die-cast aluminum midrange drivers and woofers are now available, making 3-way combinations possible. The woofer in the component set (also available separately as ZX6.2W) features an aluminum die-cast basket and an aluminum phase plug. The sandwich cone consists of a triple-layer fiberglass composite material, which is particularly light yet very stable. The frequency response is extremely linear and requires hardly any correction through “crossover tricks.” A powerful magnet drive weighing 14 ounces provides plenty of power, driving a very large 30.5 mm voice coil. Overall, this allows a mechanical excursion of up to +/- 11 mm. The separately available 25 mm fabric neodymium tweeter ZX6.2T with coupling volume (resonance frequency 700Hz) covers a particularly wide frequency range very linearly up to well over 24 kHz.

The highlight of the 2-way component set, however, is that it is already prepared for 3-way operation: The 7.5 cm optional midrange driver ZXM3 can be easily connected to the ZXO-2 crossover: Simply switch the jumpers on the crossover to 3-way, connect the midrange driver with the bandpass filter; done. The midrange driver also shines with excellent components such as an aluminum die-cast basket, an aluminum cone, a large 25 mm voice coil, as well as an extra ventilated spider and a powerful neodymium motor.

Nachdem ich mit meinem Bass Habit Elite 300 zufrieden war jedoch noch etwas mehr wollte bin ich auf dieses gute Stück gekommen.
Beim auspacken bin ich direkt von dem massiven Magneten und der guten Verarbeitung überwältigt gewesen.
Getestet habe ich ihn bisher mit einem Deaf Bonce Atom 3.5k Verstärker.
Das Teil ist der absolute Hammer und einfach eine Macht.
Preis-Leistung stimmt hier definitiv !

First DSP

This is my first DSP amplifier. It have good build quiality, i use it together with Focal EVO PS, and sound is really good. Cant compare with something else but i like it a lot.
For price around 400 this is very solid DSP, but if you spent more you could get HELIX and it will have better configuration software, at least in helix soft, you could copy paste eq properties from REW. Here you need to set all manually one by one.
