AD Alternators Universal 350A - 13.4V-16.2V

The 350A - 13.4V-16.2V alternator from AD Alternators is a universal alternator that is perfect for all types of vehicles. It features an adjustable voltage of 13.4V-16.2V and a current of 350A and also includes a voltage regulator. With its universal plugs and a selection of sizes, this alternator offers a high degree of flexibility and compatibility.

• The alternator is not compatible with DF / DFM regulations, the alternator works independently with its regulator and  the control function is no longer available. 
• The charging indicator light  must be bridged to prevent lighting.
• The alternator should have a relay and separate  Switch must be operated so that the generator can only be switched on when the engine is running. 
• If the universal alternator is used as a replacement for the original part, it may be necessary to code the control unit in some vehicles to prevent warning lights (speed signal VAG). In addition, the universal alternator can always be installed.

• 1. Remove all parts of the original controller and carefully disconnect all connections.
• 2. The original controller should only have the brush holder without any connection.
• 3. Desolder 2 wires from the brushes of the original regulator (black, yellow).
