CHARACTERISTICS

TH 1.5 II Violino

    • Single layer 34mm CCAW voice coil with low weight, stability at low frequencies and total absence of musical transient compression.
    • Extremely powerful custom N38 "H-grade" neodymium magnet  with 1.67 T*m in the magnetic gap for excellent dynamics  and very low distortion across the entire frequency range.
    • The exclusive air-loading system results in a resonance frequency below 800 Hz, which starts at 1.5 kHz with the filter setting - 12 dB/oct.
    • 38mm natural silk dome optimized through extensive material characterization, laser vibrometer scanning and finite element analysis methods for consistent and extended response.
    • Frequency response up to 26 kHz, optimized for off-center placement.
    • The TH 1.5 II Violino Tuning System features two types of electro-acoustic loads: Bottom Case or Bottom Disk, depending on the objectives of maximum performance as well as the flexibility of integration in the car.
    • Full metal construction, with every part designed and manufactured exclusively for the Audison TH 1.5 II.
    • FEM (finite element method) optimized front panel and front spokes for improved radiation behavior.

TH 6.5 II Sax

    • 50mm CCAR (Copper Clad Aluminum Ribbon) voice coil wound with flat wire to maximize power factor and heat dissipation.
    • Low inductance of the mobile voice coil to optimize radiation in the mid-high band (2-3 kHz).
    • N48 "H-grade" neodymium magnet with excellent thermal stability to ensure optimal dynamic reserve in every situation.
    • The geometry of the magnet group was designed using finite element simulation software to maximize efficiency by concentrating the magnetic field in the gap.
    • The membrane is made of TPX® , a transparent material that reduces the irregularities of the frequency response in the mid-high range and makes the interior of the speaker completely visible.
    • The membrane geometry was designed using simulation software to achieve uniform radiation across all listening angles.
    • The basket is made from a single piece of die-cast aluminum with four pairs of spokes to optimize heat transfer, avoid turbulent airflow and ensure maximum structural rigidity.
    • Hi-excursion suspension and spider, optimized with simulations of the multi-physics behavior of the loudspeaker.
