SECH Supercap capacitor module 18V 500F - 2x3 as a DIY kit. Generally, supercaps/ultracaps, or boostcaps, or supercapacitors are used for highly efficient Regulation of voltage drops due to high output stage power. They are a special form of power cap capacitors. They work much faster than batteries because they can release all their energy in real time, without delay. A battery, on the other hand, is slower in comparison and does not have the ability to absorb extreme current peaks.
