The  STADIUM 1224 is an impressive 12" (30cm) subwoofer from JBL that makes no compromises in terms of sound quality or flexibility. With its innovative SSI™ (Selectable Smart Impedance) technology, it offers you the option of choosing the optimal impedance yourself and thus using different system configurations. At the same time, the aero-cooling design keeps the voice coil cool even at high power levels and ensures long-term reliability. • The Stadium subwoofers feature an exclusive dual impedance switch that allows you to select one of the two load impedances. This allows for a variety of system configurations when using one or more subwoofers. SSI allows you to reconfigure your system by simply flipping a switch, something other manufacturers cannot do.
• Aero-cooled voice coil
• The Stadium's voice coil increases the power handling and reliability of the subwoofer by adapting to the airflow. The woofer motor directs air pumped by the cone movement past the voice coil, and the voice coil former exposes the inner and outer surfaces of the coil to the airflow. This aero-cooling design is unique among aftermarket subwoofers.

• Performance is the lifeblood of any subwoofer. The Stadium subwoofer terminals are designed for  6mm²  cross-section that has low resistance and low losses even over long cable runs. This ensures that the subwoofer - and your music - gets the power it needs.
