Characteristics

Slipstream™ port design

• At high sound pressure levels, airflow turbulence in the port of a vented enclosure can cause noise that sounds like the woofer breaking open. The patented Slipstream port in Series II enclosures is double flared to minimize turbulence and eliminate unwanted eddies.

SSI™ (Selectable Smart Impedance)

• Most car audio systems are designed for 2 or 4 ohm impedance. The Series II subwoofers feature an exclusive dual impedance switch that allows you to choose either impedance option. With SSI, you can reconfigure your system with the flip of a switch - something no other manufacturer offers.
