SB Acoustics SB17CAC35 / Ceramic

The SB Acoustics SB17CAC35 6.5" (16.5cm) woofer/midrange driver with ceramic/ceramic membrane is available in a 4 ohm and 8 ohm version. The ultra-light and stiff membrane is driven by a powerful ferrite magnet. The resonance frequency of around 30 Hz is far outside the usable range, which means that the driver is extremely linear in the usable range and can be used optimally in 2-way use or as a pure midrange driver. The generously ventilated centering spider optimizes the rear compression behavior to a maximum and provides additional cooling.
