Beschreibung
The SB Acoustics SATORI MR16P 6.5" (16.5cm) woofer/midrange driver with paper/papyrus membrane is available in a 4 ohm and 8 ohm version. The ultra-light membrane is driven by a powerful neodymium drive. The resonance frequency of around 30 Hz is far outside the usable range, which means that the driver is extremely linear in the usable range and can be used optimally in 2-way use or as a woofer. The generously ventilated centering spider optimizes the rear compression behavior to a maximum and provides additional cooling.
Features:Â
- Ventilated, aerodynamic cast aluminum chassis for optimal strength and low compression.
- Proprietary cone material with EGYPTIAN PAPYRUSâ„¢ -Fibers from our own production.
- Soft rubber surround with low damping for optimal transient response.
- Advanced BIMAX spider for improved linearity.
- Powerful, optimized and low-distortion neodymium motor system.
- Non-conductive fiberglass voice coil former for minimal damping.
- Extended copper sleeve on the pole piece for low inductance and lower distortion.
- CCAW voice coil for reduced moving mass.
- Durable silver wires spaced 180° for improved stability.
- Ventilated pole piece and coil body for reduced compression.
- Low ratio of piston to chassis diameter.
- Sealing and bolt hole projections for reduced coupling to the loudspeaker cabinet.
- Mode balanced cone for reduced loosening.
