    The Dayton Audio Reference Series sets new standards in high-performance loudspeaker chassis. By using a low-distortion motor system with two short-circuit paths and a rigid aluminum cone, the Reference Series outperforms speakers costing many times its price. The low-distortion characteristics and high excursion ensure exceptional clarity, detail and dynamics. The woofer has a black anodized cone, a heavy-duty cast frame, a low-loss rubber surround, a solid aluminum phase plug, a rubber magnet sleeve and gold terminals.
