Anyone who wants to enjoy invisible bass in their vehicle can use so-called active under-seat subwoofers. But if there is no space under the seats, the only alternative is to install them in the trunk. For reasons of space, a spare wheel variant is often considered. However, if the diameter of the spare wheel is very small, only very small models such as the  MERCURY MRX200A  With a diameter of just 25 cm and a height of just 8 cm, it is ideal for this purpose and fits into rims with a diameter of 12 inches or more. Fans of vintage vehicles with small spare wheels will especially enjoy the MRX system. It is astonishing how much bass pressure comes out of the small housing. So that the little  MRX200A  Basswunder also uses very little power, it has a very efficient Class D amplifier with an efficiency of up to 87%. The advantage of this, in contrast to conventional Class A/B amplifiers, is that it heats up very little, as hardly any losses need to be converted into heat. With an output of a real 125 watts RMS, it is very powerful. The aluminum membrane driven by this converts the power perfectly into sound pressure. The result is a dry and powerful bass.
