The MMR-40 from JL Audio is a professional marine multimedia receiver. With its color LCD display, it is not only a real eye-catcher, but also offers extended configuration options and a powerful network. The wired NMEA 2000 network remote control brings full functionality. The MMR-40 offers maximum flexibility thanks to the versatile connection options with other MediaMaster source devices. The weatherproof housing, rated IP66, makes the device particularly robust and durable. With its independent lighting control and display themes, the MMR-40 adapts individually to the needs of the user.

- Wired NMEA 2000 network remote control® with full functionality and LCD color display
- The MMR-40 is a NMEA 2000® Network controller designed to control MediaMaster source devices® to expand a fully functional additional control.
- The MMR-2000 is equipped with a NMEA 40® Micro-C connector and can be connected to a host MediaMaster source unit in two ways® be connected:
- Direct interface with a vessel's NMEA 2000 network using the appropriate NMEA 2000 cables®® and connectors (not included)
- Direct connection of an MMR-40 to a host MediaMaster source unit® via MMC-PN2K network cable (sold separately) to simulate an isolated, standalone NMEA 2000 network®
- Once connected, the MMR-40 automatically detects the host MediaMaster source unit and then mirrors all of the host source unit's controls and on-screen information onto the MMR-8's 40.2-inch color LCD display, resulting in a complete MediaMaster user experience®® leads.
- The MMR-40 is equipped with independent display themes and lighting controls to ensure maximum mounting flexibility, regardless of the host source device settings. Designed for real-world marine (and many outdoor) applications, the weatherproof (IP66 rated) housing is built to withstand the harshest environments.

The MMR-40 is not a standalone receiver and will not work without a connected MediaMaster source device® . All remote control functions of the MMR-40 are derived exclusively from the host source unit. The functionality of the MMR-40 requires connection to a NMEA 2000 network or the use of MMC-PN2K network cables® (sold separately).
