The Musway MG6.2W 16.5 cm woofer is an absolute feast for the eyes. With very narrow struts, the high-quality aluminum basket ensures optimal ventilation behind the centering. A beautifully turned and nickel-plated T-plate also ventilates the voice coil through several ventilation openings, which almost eliminates overheating. This means that the door speaker can also reproduce high levels over a longer period of time without distortion. The high level is achieved, among other things, by a 13.4 mm long winding height of the voice coil, which ensures a large linear deflection of the membrane. The above-average large, 13.7 ounce heavy Magnetic drive in Y30 quality through a rubber boot.
Another technical HIGHLIGHT is the sandwich membrane, which is very complex to manufacture. In this case, this means that the upper layer made of ultra-thin aluminum is "connected" to the layer below, which in turn is made of light paper. This achieves very efficient damping.
