The  XD700/5V2 is a fascinating 5-channel amplifier from JL Audio. • The XD700/5v2 includes a 12 dB/octave high-pass filter for one main channel pair, a 12 dB/octave high- or band-pass filter for the other main channel pair, and a variable slope low-pass filter for the subwoofer channel. All three filters offer a continuous cutoff frequency selection from 50-500 Hz.
• The filters of this amplifier can also be configured as a true 3-way crossover, with a low-pass filter for the subwoofer channel, a band-pass filter on channels 3 & 4 and a high-pass filter on channel  1 & 2. A "x10" multiplier switch on the high pass filter on channels 1 and 2 allows the cutoff frequency to be set from 50-500 Hz or 500-5000 Hz.
  
• The XD700/5v2 also features the v2 Spec feature set, which consists of an automatic power-on function (via signal sampling or DC offset sampling) and a differentially balanced dual-range input section capable of handling a wide range of input voltage levels.
• With an additional HD-RLC remote control (sold separately), the amplifier level can be controlled directly from the driver's seat.
