• JL Audio's patented chamber-coupled port design (US Patent No. 6,625,292) encloses the inner enclosure perimeter and terminates directly above the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer's direct output. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of theW6 v3 driver. This enclosure design has been carefully designed to ensure optimal alignment of the bass reflex enclosures for the 10W6 v3 and refined through extensive listening under real-world conditions.
• This subwoofer system comes wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. Although there is no grille, the recessed baffle provides some protection for the woofer. A steel mesh woofer grille insert can be purchased separately (model: SGR-10W6 v2/v3) if additional protection of the woofer is desired.
