Not only does it offer low distortion and an ultra-compact design, but it also has a durable, black powder-coated surface and many other features that ensure that your music is played in the best quality.

- Using JL's exclusive NexD™ Using high-speed switching technologies, the ultra-compact RD400/4 amplifier is designed to deliver high audio output power with incredible efficiency and low distortion.
- The controls of the RD400/4 are located on the top of the amplifier under a protective cover, with all connections located on one side of the housing.
- Studio-quality signal processing features include high- or low-pass filters with 12 dB/octave (switchable) for each channel pair with continuous frequency selection from 50 to 500 Hz and differential-symmetrical
- An automatic power-on function (via signal sensing or DC offset sensing) is standard, along with all-new input switches for bridging stereo output channels without the need for Y-adapters.
- The RD400/4 also includes integrated LED clipping indicators. This completely new, innovative feature allows you to adjust the amplifier's input sensitivity settings quickly and precisely without the need for special equipment.
- There are also a number of preamplifier outputs available so that you can easily route the signals to another amplifier.
- The RD400/4 features a durable black powder-coated finish and a top-mounted two-tone LED light bar that indicates overall status and condition.
