The Morel 2-way component system IR-BMW 42-CTR for replacing a 2-way center speaker in a BMW belongs to the reference class of BMW speaker sets and sets new standards in terms of sound quality. Thanks to DirectFit, the unique 4-inch enclosure design with included mounting brackets, easy-to-snap 1.1-inch (28 mm) tweeters and factory cable connectors, the IR-BMW42 into modern BMW models without any modifications required.
The IR-BMW 42-CTR is based on Morel's highly regarded hybrid loudspeaker series. Each 100 mm woofer is equipped with a 54 mm voice coil and a powerful hybrid EVC™ motor, which offers exceptional power handling and unmatched cone control. The high-resolution tweeter uses Morel's proprietary 28 mm Acuflex™ silk dome tweeter and a dual neodymium magnet motor. The result is a plug-and-play speaker system that is simply unrivaled.
