The FACE-MONTEREY, a 1-DIN car radio display unit, comes from Retrosound and impresses with its chrome-plated design. Ideal for Ford and Mercury models from 1960-1963, it offers a compact size of approx. 120x45mm. In addition to the display unit, the delivery also includes two control knobs with brackets and the necessary screw and fastening material. However, control buttons and control rings must be ordered separately. The FACE-MONTEREY is also compatible with various radio modules, such as the Motor-1dab, Motor-1dab-1 and Motor-6dab models. Installing a Retrosound car radio does not jeopardize the issue of the H license plate.

Notice

The Retrosound car radio is ordered and delivered in two components. The radio module "Motor" and the "Face", which has a display unit with control buttons and the two controls. The control buttons and control rings are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered individually. The display unit fits into the various front panels and adapter frames from Retrosound.

Note on the H license plate

Any concerns that your H-license plate might be at risk by installing a retrosound car radio are unfounded. In the download you will find a confirmation with the approval of the entire AKE working group (TÜV Süd, TÜV Rheinland, TÜV Nord, DEKRA, KÜS, GTÜ), which states that the "Retrosound car radio" including the vehicle-specific panel and control buttons may be installed in classic cars with an H-license plate and does not prevent the H-license plate from being issued!
