The Seas ExcelW22 EX/001 - E0022 is an 8" magnesium cone woofer with an RMS power of 120 watts. Special features of this type are the precision-cast and surface-treated magnesium membrane as well as the gold-plated terminals, which minimize contact resistance and improve reliability. The membrane, coupled with a natural rubber surround, shows no signs of resonance in the midrange range. The strong copper ring and the more solid copper phase plug support clear sound quality and improve heat dissipation. An extremely stable, injection-molded metal basket keeps all components securely in their alignment.
