The ECX-G6 from Emphaser is a 6.5" (16.5 cm) coaxial loudspeaker that is characterized by a number of key features. These include a woofer with CRYSTALGRAIN compound membrane, a FlowMax aluminum die-cast basket and a strontium ferrite magnet. The loudspeaker also has a butyl rubber surround and a two-layer copper wire voice coil on an aluminum voice coil former. A 13 mm tweeter with fabric dome and a screw terminal with gold-plated contact surfaces round off the product. With a nominal power handling of 100 W RMS, a nominal impedance of 4 ohms and a frequency response of 65 Hz - 22 kHz, the ECX-G6 offers impressive performance. The installation diameter is 145 mm and the installation depth is 65 mm. The scope of delivery includes two coaxial speakers, with the speaker cover being available as an option.
