    Prepare yourself for real sound enjoyment. We present the CENTO CX 165 from Hertz, a 6.5" (16.5cm) coaxial loudspeaker that impresses both technically and acoustically. The 2-way coaxial system, equipped with a 24mm tweeter membrane made of Tetolon, delivers music reproduction that is far above the standard. Thanks to the SPP-M membrane and the optimization for off-axis operation, this loudspeaker combines perfect acoustics with exceptional damping characteristics. The CENTO CX 165 shows its true class in the OEM system and stands for premium sound performance.

    • 24mm Soft Tetolon tweeter with 20mm voice coil, cooled by ferrofluid for a detailed and natural reproduction of the high frequencies.
    • RHFC (Rotary High Frequency Contour) tweeter that can be perfectly aligned to ensure optimal reproduction in off-axis operation.
    • The design and geometry of the tweeter faceplate has been optimized using FEM (Finite Element Modeling) simulations for a linear frequency response, even in off-axis installations.
    • The woofer/midrange driver has a 25mm voice coil mounted on an aluminum carrier, which ensures good thermal resilience and high excursion.
    • 165mm single pressed SPP-M membrane (Pressed Paper-Mica) enhanced with mica powder for an excellent balance between weight and damping.
    • High density ferrite magnet combined with low carbon pole plates for reduced distortion.
    • Compact 3 spoke basket with a magnetic protection made of rubber which ensures good decoupling of vibrations of any kind.
    • Elegant, heavy-duty speaker grille made of ABS plastic with metallic finish and a metal grille.
