PDP-E802DSP by Alpine
Multiple connection options and high flexibility
The PDP-E802DSP is the perfect solution for improving sound quality, especially for vehicles where the factory radio cannot be replaced. The Alpine DSP amplifier simply connects to the existing car radio and allows you to set up any sound system in your vehicle.

Configure your own sound system
You can freely configure the 8 output channels to suit your needs. Each channel delivers 100 watts into 4 ohms (700 watts total maximum) and can be configured to be used as a tweeter, midrange, center, or woofer channel. You can also use two channels in parallel for a powerful 200-watt subwoofer. The PDP-E802DSP features digital crossovers, so you don't have to worry about installing passive crossovers throughout the vehicle. With a frequency range of 20 Hz to 22 kHz on all channels, you can build virtually any system.

Extensive sound-tuning options
With the Alpine DSP amplifier you instantly get a professional sound studio: a parametric 240-band equalizer (30 bands per channel) lets you fine-tune the sound in great detail. You also get an 8-channel digital time alignment and an 8-channel digital crossover for perfect channel tuning. With the selectable routing you can, for example, combine multiple channels to create a center channel.

True Class-D technology
The Alpine DSP amplifier uses Class-D amplification technology: This means that once an analog input signal is converted into a digital signal, it remains fully digital throughout the entire processing and amplification phase. With Class-D technology, an amplifier can achieve much higher efficiency - which means less heat generation and smaller heatsinks. The result is a very small, compact enclosure that can be easily placed in the vehicle (205mm x 150mm x 50mm).

Wireless system controller
Download the "Alpine Remote Control App" for your iPhone or Android smartphone to control all key functions on the go. With it you can adjust important settings such as master volume, subwoofer level, source selection, presets and much more using your smartphone. A day and night mode is even available. The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

Start-stop compatible
The PDP-E802DSP remains fully operational even when your car is in start-stop mode. That means no unintended interruptions when you're at an intersection or in a stop-and-go situation.

Bass Knob available
With the optional Alpine RUX-KNOB2, you can adjust the subwoofer level or the master volume of your PDP-E802DSP.

Wireless audio playback
If you're using an Android phone, you can transfer and play audio files losslessly at full bandwidth via the Alpine PDP-E802DSP's micro-USB connection. You can also connect your phone to the DSP amplifier via Wi‑Fi (the wireless module is included with the PDP-E802DSP). For this application we recommend the "USB Audio Player Pro" app for Android.

Professional sound tuning for PC
Download the Alpine Sound Lab software for the PDP-E802DSP from our support section and install the program on your PC (compatible with Windows 10). Connect your PC to the Alpine PDP-E802DSP via a USB cable or wirelessly over Wi‑Fi. You can now begin tuning your audio system.

240-band parametric EQ and crossover
The parametric EQ is very easy to use: 30 bands per channel can be adjusted in real time using sliders. The display gives you visual feedback on your settings. You can also set the digital frequency separately for all 8 channels (HP, LP, BP 6/12/18 / 24 dB / 30 dB, filter type Butterworth, Bessel, Chebyshev, Linkwitz-Riley selectable). Phase inversion is also possible.

8-channel time alignment
Use the graphical user interface to set the time delay for each speaker / channel separately. You can set the delay in cm, inches or ms. Entire groups of channels can also be adjusted accordingly in their time delay.

Analog signal routing
With this function you can set which input channel is routed to which output channel (in percent). For example, you can create a center channel from two front channels.

Adjust source volume
You can adjust each analog input from -6 dB to +12 dB to achieve the perfect input sensitivity for your sources.
