The iLX-F905DU8 from Alpine is a radio specially developed for the Fiat Ducato 8, equipped with a high-resolution 9-inch WXGA touchscreen in HD quality. iLX-F905DU8: Made for Fiat Ducato 8

The new Fiat Ducato 8 (model year 2022) boasts a newly designed dashboard and modern electronic systems. Alpine offers a custom digital media station that fits perfectly into the Ducato 8's dashboard and electronics. All components required for installation are included and make the installation significantly easier.

9-inch WXGA touchscreen in HD quality

The large 23 cm (9-inch) HD touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 720p (WXGA) - as a result, icons, menus and visual content are now displayed even more clearly and vividly on your dashboard. The continuously tiltable screen is firmly attached to the 1-DIN housing and can be fitted into almost any 1-DIN or 2-DIN opening.

Apple CarPlay Wireless

For even more convenience, the iLX-F905DU8 offers wireless connectivity via Apple CarPlay Wireless with the iPhone. This allows iPhone users to keep their phone in their pocket while in the vehicle and conveniently make calls, retrieve and reply to text messages, use music apps, and even get navigation. Access to Apple CarPlay is via the capacitive touchscreen or the voice command button to activate Siri voice control.

Wireless Qi Charging Pad

A very useful accessory for your Fiat Ducato 8 is the Wireless Qi charging cradle KCE-3QI (sold separately). This add-on fits perfectly into the 1-DIN slot and provides inductive charging for Qi-compatible smartphones without plugging in a charging cable.

Pre-Flight Check (Pre-Departure Inspection)

You can use and customize Alpine's new "Pre-Flight Check" (departure check) on your Halo display. It provides a reminder before you set off to check all safety-relevant items, such as ensuring the gas is turned off, windows and doors are secured, the satellite antenna is stowed, wheel chocks are removed, etc. This feature can be enabled or disabled by the user.

Steering wheel remote control

If your vehicle is equipped with parking sensors, you can continue to use these convenient features with your iLX-F905D. Alpine offers many vehicle data-bus interfaces to connect your Alpine Halo9 to your vehicle's data-bus system. This enables compatibility with your vehicle's steering wheel controls, the display of climate control settings, and the display of the parking sensors.

Wide range of entertainment options

The completely redesigned 1.5x DAB+/FM/AM tuner enables switching between DAB and FM and lets you enjoy seamless radio reception without interruptions. In addition to expanded USB video playback formats (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV), the Alpine Halo9 offers many additional entertainment options. With the integrated Bluetooth module you can use audio streaming from your phone, and an HDMI input allows you to connect an external video playback device.

The world's first Head Unit with integrated Class-D amplifier

The iLX-F905DU8 is the world’s first head unit for the aftermarket that features an integrated Class-D amplifier delivering 4x 50 watts. This amplifier offers excellent high-end sound reproduction with extremely low noise and barely measurable phase shifts. The main advantage of Class-D amplifier technology is the high efficiency of approx. 90 %, compared to 50–70 % with Class-AB amplifiers. A new cooling concept with internal heat sinks ensures that your Alpine Halo11 always reaches the right operating temperature – and plays your favorite music.

Enjoy excellent sound quality

With a parametric 56-band equalizer, the digital crossover, a digital 6-channel time correction and multiple Bass Engine SQ- presets- and MediaXpander sound-tuning options you have excellent options at your disposal, to perfectly tune your Alpine car stereo Halo9 or connected amplifier-/speaker systems. But that's not all: The Alpine Halo9 is Hi-Res Audio-certified and can decode and play back Hi-Res audio files up to 96 kHz / 1.536 kbps from uncompressed USB sources in formats such as FLAC, WAV and APE.

Parking Assist Technology

The optional rear-view camera systems provide even greater safety with state-of-the-art camera technology. The rear-view camera is automatically activated when reversing and mutes the audio signal, so you can still hear the parking sensors. You not only have a clear view to the rear, but also special guidance lines. You can even activate a trailer-hitch guidance line to make hitching your trailer much easier. For quick access to the camera while driving, a camera direct-access button is available.

External volume control with camera activation

The volume controller RUE-BK01, sold separately, can be connected wirelessly to the Alpine Halo9 via Bluetooth and can be mounted on the left or right side of the touchscreen. Alternatively, you can install the rotary knob in any other desired location in the vehicle. Turning the knob adjusts the volume of the head unit. Pressing the knob can activate the rear camera on the screen while driving.
Note: This volume button is not active when the Apple CarPlay Wireless function is enabled.

Tiltable screen

You can tilt the screen on the iLX-F905DU8 anywhere from +45° to -20° for optimal readability and to avoid sun glare.

Adjustable height and depth

The height of the display can be adjusted before installation by +/- 3 cm from the center position. This makes previously concealed switches and buttons in the dashboard accessible again. Additionally, the installation depth, and thus the distance between the dashboard and the display, can also be set before installation within a range of 20 mm.

LIN-Bus-Adapter to retain the original Qi charging function

If your Ducato is already equipped with an original Qi charger for smartphones, you can continue to use it with your Alpine system. For this, the separately available adapter KWE-Qi-DU8 is required.

Includes a precision-fit frame and mounting brackets for Fiat Ducato 8

The iLX-F905DU8 includes a custom-fit frame, mounting brackets, a wiring harness with a CAN interface, and an antenna adapter. Thanks to the CAN interface, the steering wheel remote control buttons can continue to be used.

Bluetooth Hi-Res audio streaming

With LDAC, you can stream your audio content, including high-resolution (Hi-Res) audio, over Bluetooth at a maximum bitrate of 990 kbps. The wireless Bluetooth connection to your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled digital audio players is made possible thanks to the built-in high-end LDAC standard. That makes this Alpine Head Unit ideal for Hi-Res audio and streaming services with high sound quality. The transmission bitrate is continuously adjusted with this technology to ensure a stable connection in challenging environments.
