The iLX-F905DU Alpine Halo9 for the Fiat Ducato 3, Peugeot Boxer 2, Citroën Jumper 2 and Opel Movano 3 is the second generation of Alpine's popular Halo product line. The Alpine Halo9 has become one of the world's most popular car stereos and has been awarded numerous prizes for its outstanding concept and design. We have further improved and optimized this successful product. The second generation of the Alpine Halo9 features a high-resolution HD display, wireless Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, even better sound quality, and many other innovations and enhancements. The ilX-F905DU is available as a complete kit for the Fiat Ducato 3, Peugeot Boxer 2, Citroën Jumper 2 and Opel Movano. It contains all necessary installation parts and interfaces for full integration into the vehicle system.

9-inch WXGA touchscreen in HD quality

The large 23 cm (9-inch) HD touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 720p (WXGA) - making icons, menus and visual content appear even clearer and more vibrant on your dashboard. The continuously tiltable screen is firmly attached to the 1-DIN housing and can be installed in almost any 1-DIN or 2-DIN opening.

Apple CarPlay Wireless

For even more convenience, the iLX-F905DU supports wireless connectivity via Apple CarPlay Wireless with the iPhone. This allows iPhone users to keep their phone in their pocket while in the vehicle and conveniently make calls, access and reply to text messages, use music apps, and even get navigation. Access to Apple CarPlay is via the capacitive touchscreen or the voice-dial button to activate Siri voice control.

Steering wheel remote control

If your Ducato 3 is equipped with steering wheel-mounted controls, you can also use them with the iLX-F115DU. The Alpine system is fully integrated with the vehicle electronics and recognizes all steering wheel controls, such as volume control, phone, voice control and audio mute.

Diverse entertainment options & online navigation options

The all-new 1.5x DAB+/FM/AM tuner enables switching between DAB and FM for seamless radio reception without interruptions. In addition to the expanded USB video playback formats (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV), the Alpine Halo9 offers a variety of additional entertainment options. With the built-in Bluetooth module you can stream audio from your phone, and an HDMI input allows connection of an external video playback device. Of course, you can use Android Auto with any compatible smartphone (wired connection).

The world's first Head Unit with integrated Class-D amplifier

The iLX-F905DU is the world's first head unit for the aftermarket that features an integrated Class-D amplifier with 4x 50 Watt output. This amplifier delivers excellent high-end sound reproduction with extremely reduced noise and barely measurable phase shifts. The main advantage of Class-D amplifier technology is the high efficiency of approx. 90 %, compared with 50–70 % for Class-AB amplifiers. A new cooling concept with internal heatsinks ensures that your Alpine Halo9 always reaches the proper operating temperature – and plays your favorite music.

Enjoy the excellent sound quality

With a parametric 56-band equalizer, the digital crossover, a digital 6-channel time correction and multiple Bass Engine SQ- presets- and MediaXpander sound-tuning options, you have excellent options at your disposal to perfectly tune your Alpine Halo9 car stereo or connected amplifier-/speaker systems. But that's not all: The Alpine Halo9 is Hi-Res Audio certified and can decode and play back Hi-Res audio files up to 96 kHz / 1.536 kbps from uncompressed USB sources in formats such as FLAC, WAV and APE.

Parking Assistance Technology

The optional rearview camera systems provide even more safety with state-of-the-art camera technology. The rearview camera is activated automatically when reversing and mutes the audio so you can still hear the parking sensors. You not only get a clear view behind you but also special guide lines. You can even activate a tow-hitch guide line to make hooking up your trailer much easier. For quick camera access while driving, a dedicated camera button is available.

External volume control with camera activation

The separately available RUE-BK01 volume control can be connected wirelessly to the Alpine Halo9 via Bluetooth and can be mounted on the left or right side of the touchscreen. Alternatively, you can mount the rotary knob anywhere else in the vehicle. Rotating the knob adjusts the head unit's volume. Pressing the knob can activate the rear-view camera on the screen while driving.
Note: This volume button is not active when the Apple CarPlay wireless function is enabled.

Tiltable screen

You can continuously adjust the iLX-F905DU screen's tilt at any time from +45° to -20° for optimal readability and to avoid sun glare.

Adjustable height and depth

The height of the display can be adjusted by +/- 3 cm from the center position before installation. This makes previously concealed switches and buttons in the dashboard accessible again. Additionally, the installation depth — and thus the distance between the dashboard and the display — can also be adjusted before installation within a range of 20 mm.

Pre-Flight Check (Pre-Departure Check)

You can use and customize Alpine's new "Pre-Flight Check" (departure check) on your screen. It provides a final reminder before departure to check all safety-relevant items, e.g. gas turned off, windows and doors secured, satellite antenna retracted, wheel chocks removed, etc. You can enable or disable this feature yourself.

Including a precisely fitted installation frame and mounting brackets for Fiat Ducato 3 and equivalent vehicles

The iLX-F905DU includes a custom-fit installation frame, mounting brackets, a wiring harness with CAN interface, and an antenna adapter. The CAN interface ensures the steering wheel remote control functions remain available.

Bluetooth Hi-Res audio streaming

With LDAC, you can stream your audio content, including high-resolution (Hi-Res) audio, over Bluetooth at a maximum bitrate of 990 kbps. The wireless Bluetooth connection to your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled digital audio players is made possible by the integrated high-end LDAC standard. This makes this Alpine Head Unit ideal for Hi-Res audio and streaming services with high sound quality. The transmission bitrate in this technology is continuously adjusted to ensure a stable connection in challenging environments.
