Slim-Fit 2-way speaker system

Based on the experience gained from the AlpineF#1Status speakers and technologies, these Hi-Res Audio-certified speakers deliver the highest audiophile sound quality up to 40 kHz in your vehicle. The 2-way Slim-Fit system consists of 170 mm woofers with integrated 40 mm tweeters.

Carbon fiber membranes

All speakers in this set (as well as the "Alpine Status" subwoofer HDZ-110) use carbon-composite cones to achieve a completely uniform tonal character - resulting in excellent overtones. Carbon is very light and stiff, which leads to high dynamics and low distortion. The Backed Carbon Composite technology is also used in racing car chassis because of its low weight and high crash resistance.

Double-ribbed rim

Another technology carried over from the AlpineF#1Status speakers: the double-ribbed surround allows maximum cone excursion while providing excellent control and cone stability. This reduces audio distortion caused by cone wobble at higher volumes.

Slim-Fit-Tweeter

The integrated 40 mm Hi-Res-Audio slim-fit tweeters simply sound fantastic and play up to 40 kHz. They are significantly smaller than the HDZ-653 tweeters, with a particular focus on easy installation. They feature an integrated Waveguide, a rear-tuned chamber and a powerful neodymium magnet.

Alpine Status comprises many components that, in terms of power and performance, should ideally be used as a complete system to achieve the intended high resolution for outstanding, audiophile sound quality. Audiophile Loudspeaker Crossovers

The supplied 2-way crossover networks are fitted with hand-selected high-end components and offer many adjustment options: You can set the treble level to +3dB, 0dB or -3dB and set the woofer's crossover either to 12dB/oct. or 6dB/oct. The smoke-colored acrylic cover with the Alpine logo slides forward to provide access to the screw terminals and jumper plugs.

The 70 mm Hi-res Audio ring-radiator tweeters simply sound fantastic and play up to 40 kHz. They feature a 25-mm carbon-fiber diaphragm that is tuned to perfectly harmonize with the midrange and woofer to create a fully unified sonic identity. They also have an integrated waveguide, a rear-tuned chamber, and a powerful neodymium magnet.

Alpine Status achieves 192 kHz/24‑bit playback, which corresponds to 6.5 times the data volume of a standard CD or common streaming services and surpasses the high-resolution standard specification of 96 kHz/24‑bit found in most aftermarket sound solutions.
