Alpine presents "Alpine Status": using the same technical concepts and design elements as the 3rd generation of our "AlpineF#1Status" system, Alpine developed the "Alpine Status" system with extremely high resolution. This fulfills the goal of providing high-resolution in-car sound at an attractive price. "Alpine Status" is also highly flexible: all components can be purchased and used as a "Stand-Alone" solution.

For lovers of audiophile music who want to create an optimal sound system, "Alpine Status" offers a wide range of Hi-Res Audio-capable speakers. The 2-way component speakers HDZ-65C, with a high-resolution bandwidth of 55 Hz - 40 kHz, feature a 170 mm door woofer and a 70 mm ring radiator tweeter with a 25 mm voice coil. High-end speaker crossovers are also included in the set.

All speaker diaphragms are made from the same carbon composite material to ensure a consistent sonic signature during playback. They closely match the look and feel of the AlpineF#1Status speakers and use a very similar construction and motor arrangement, as well as the same materials, for the highest sound quality.

It is designed to play music tracks in the 192 kHz / 24 Bit format, which is the common format on many online stores and streaming platforms. This high-res audio playback enables "Alpine Status" to create an intense in-car listening experience that conveys the feel of an intimate, studio-quality recording session.

2-way loudspeaker system for audiophile listening

Based on the experience from the AlpineF#1Status speakers and technologies, these Hi-Res Audio-certified speakers deliver the highest audiophile sound quality up to 40 kHz in your vehicle. The 2-way speaker system consists of 170 mm woofers and a 70 mm ring radiator tweeter with a 25 mm voice coil. High-end speaker crossovers are also included in the set.

Carbon fiber membranes

All speakers in this set (as well as the "Alpine Status" subwoofer HDZ-110) use carbon composite diaphragms to achieve a completely uniform tonal character - resulting in excellent overtones. Carbon is very light and stiff, which leads to high dynamics and low distortion. The Backed-Carbon-Composite technology is also used in race car chassis because of its low weight and high crash resistance.

Double-ribbed edge

Another technology adopted from the AlpineF#1Status speakers: the double-ribbed surround enables maximum cone excursion with excellent control and cone stability. This reduces sound distortion caused by the cone wobbling at higher volumes.

High-end ring-radiator tweeter

The included 70 mm Hi-Res audio ring-radiator tweeters simply sound fantastic and play up to 40 kHz. They feature a 25 mm carbon-fiber diaphragm, tuned to perfectly harmonize with the midrange and the woofer to achieve a fully unified sonic identity. They also include an integrated waveguide, a rear-tuned chamber, and a powerful neodymium magnet.

„Alpine Status“ as a complete system

„Alpine Status“ has many components that, in terms of power and performance, should ideally be used as a complete system to achieve the intended high resolution for outstanding audiophile sound quality. The individual components, however, can also be purchased separately to assemble a custom system tailored exactly to your preferences.

Audiophile speaker crossovers

The included 2-way crossovers are fitted with hand-selected high-end components and offer many adjustment options: you can set the tweeter level to +3 dB, 0 dB, or -3 dB and set the woofer crossover to either 12 dB/oct. or 6 dB/oct. The smoke-colored acrylic cover with the Alpine logo can be slid forward to provide access to the screw terminals and jumpers.

Slim-Fit Tweeter Version

If you're planning a discreet speaker installation or simply don't have room for a 7 cm tweeter, there's also a slim-fit version of this 2-way system. It's designated HDZ-65CS and contains the same woofers and the same crossover, but the included tweeter has a diameter of 44 mm and a significantly reduced mounting depth. This makes it very easy to install in the original tweeter locations.

Studio-quality specifications

"Alpine Status" achieves 192 kHz/24-bit playback, which corresponds to 6.5 times the data volume of a standard CD or typical streaming services and exceeds the high-resolution standard specification of 96 kHz/24-bit found in most aftermarket sound solutions. As a result, "Alpine Status" can capture and accurately reproduce details such as an artist's breath or a musician's subtle interaction with an instrument. This capability not only conveys the artist's original intent but also delivers a studio-like listening experience in your vehicle.
