Beschreibung

Discover the 66160K 2.3V - 45Ah LTO A-Grade from Yinlong, a lithium LTO round cell of excellent quality. Popular for its efficiency and cost-effectiveness, this cell offers outstanding performance, which is particularly noticeable in large quantities. The Yinlong 66160K 45Ah cell is rounded off by its versatility, as it achieves a nominal voltage of 13.8V with 45Ah capacity when combined with at least five other cells, particularly in the automotive sector.

Notes on LTO cells
  • The optimal operating range of YINLONG LTO cells is between 2.0V and 2.5V.
  • When charging the cells above 2.5V, the voltage increases more sharply, and above 2.6V it increases very sharply. The same thing happens when discharging below 2.0V!
  • Therefore, the use of a  A good active balancer is very important for LTO cells connected in series.
  • If very high currents are used (charging or discharging), the operating range may have to be further restricted to avoid strong voltage increases or voltage drops.

Difference between LTO -  LiFePO4 lithium batteries

lithium titanate cells (LTO)
    • + extremely long service life
    • + 10x longer cycle life than LiFePO4  cells
    • + extremely safe
    • + very high charging and discharging currents possible (5C-10C)
    • + less temperature sensitive, can also be charged at <0°C
    • + now affordable, cells have become cheaper
    • + very long calendar life (>25 years)
    • - LTO is more expensive than LiFePO4
    • - higher weight or less capacity
    • - lower cell voltage (2.3V), therefore more cells required for the same battery voltage
lithium iron phosphate cells (LiFePO4)
    • + affordable price
    • + wide variety of capacities and sizes
    • + higher capacity
    • + higher cell voltage (3.2V), fewer cells needed
    • - shorter lifespan
    • - not quite as secure as LTO
    • - max. charging and discharging currents are significantly lower (2C-3C)

Connection of the Active Balancer BMS

    66160K 2,3V - 45Ah LTO A-Grade

Revised contact surfaces for lowest contact resistance!
B-grade cells may exhibit optical defects.
All cells are tested and have at least 45Ah and an AC-Ri of <0.5 mOhm - guaranteed!

Possible applications

    • Solar storage (extremely durable and safe)
    • Car Hi-Fi (capacitors unnecessary)
    • camper and caravan (temperature insensitive)
    • starter battery (very high currents possible)
    • boat battery
    • UPS
      • 12V system - 6 cells
      • 24V system - 11 cells
      • 48V system - 22 cells
