    The VAG 350A - 13.4V-16.2V from AD Alternators is a VAG alternator that is characterized by its perfect fit for many vehicles in the VAG group. However, it is characterized by its self-sufficient operation with its regulator and is not compatible with DF / DFM regulations, which means that the regulation function is no longer available. Note that you have to bridge the charge control light to prevent it from lighting up and that you should ideally operate the alternator via a relay and a separate switch. The possibility of coding the control unit to prevent warning lights and using the universal alternator as a replacement for the original part completes the offer. The dimensions and data such as the adjustable voltage of 13.4-16.2 V and a current of 350A ensure high-quality performance and adaptability.

How to replace the original internal regulator with an external regulator from AD Alternators

    • 1. Remove all parts of the original controller and carefully disconnect all connections.
    • 2. The original controller should only have the brush holder without any connection.
    • 3. Desolder 2 wires from the brushes of the original regulator (black, yellow).

Su you connect the alternator

    • 1. Connect the black wire from the brush to ground.
    • 2. Connect the yellow wire from the second brush to the yellow wire of the controller.

How to connect the controller

    • 1. Connect the black wire to ground.
    • 2. Connect the red wire to +12V after the ignition (fuel pump, relay, etc.).
    • 3. Connect the yellow wire to the yellow wire of the second brush.
