HMS 10 B4-LD-C by Hertz
Discover the HMS 10 B4-LD-C, a 10-inch (25 cm) subwoofer from Hertz, featuring a robust power handling of 300 Watts RMS and 600 W peak. With an impedance of 4 Ohms and a 50 mm single voice coil, this subwoofer delivers powerful sound quality. The subwoofer is made from a polypropylene cone with UV inhibitors and includes a ferrite magnet, making it especially durable. Weighing 5.1 kg and with a mounting depth of 116 mm, it is compact yet powerful. Additionally, it boasts electro-acoustic specifications such as a frequency response of 41 Hz and a sensitivity of 88 dB.
The HMS 10 B long-throw 10-inch marine subwoofer, also available in black as the HMS 10 B-C, was designed for use in infinite baffle enclosures. It relieves the main speakers from the challenging task of reproducing the lowest frequency range and provides additional bass power and pressure for maximum overall system performance. The FEM-optimized, high-excursion moving part of the HMS 10 B with a 50 mm (2") voice coil is driven by a massive magnet assembly to ensure perfect control even at very high sound pressure levels. The HMS 10 B was developed and tested for real-world conditions (UV radiation, salt spray, vibrations, splash water, thermal shock, dust) and is therefore weather-resistant. The advanced design with aramid fiber spider and silicone-insulated lead wires ensures durability and consistent performance over time. The gold-plated, corrosion-resistant brass terminals with silicone caps protect the connection points of the lead wires.
