Frequently Asked Questions about Stealth 7.1 DSP

What amplifier technology does the ETON Stealth 7.1 DSP use?

The ETON Stealth 7.1 DSP uses advanced Class-D amplifier technology. This technology is known for its high efficiency and compact size. It allows for less heat generation and ensures that the amplifier operates very efficiently while delivering high power. As a result, the amplifier can provide 2x180 Watts RMS at 1 or 2 Ohms and 5x100 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms. This makes the Stealth 7.1 DSP ideal for demanding audio applications that require high power in a compact design. Notably, the combination with an integrated DSP leads to excellent sound results.

What input options does the Stealth 7.1 DSP offer?

The ETON Stealth 7.1 DSP offers a variety of input options that make it extremely flexible. These include Hi-Lo level inputs, which allow it to accept both high-level and low-level signals. The SPDIF input enables the processing of high-quality digital audio signals. Additionally, HiRes streaming functions are supported, making the device future-proof and compatible with modern audio sources. These diverse input options ensure that the amplifier can be easily integrated into different audio setups, whether in vehicles or stationary systems.

How does the Auto-Sense On function work on the Stealth 7.1 DSP?

The Auto-Sense On function of the Stealth 7.1 DSP is particularly useful for automatically turning on the amplifier. It uses either BTL signals (Bridge Tied Load) or music signals to activate the amplifier from standby mode. This means that the amplifier automatically detects when an audio signal is present and turns on accordingly. This function is ideal for avoiding manual power on and off, ensuring that the amplifier is always ready when audio is played. The Auto-Sense On function enhances user-friendliness and optimizes energy use.

What advantages does the integrated DSP in the ETON Stealth 7.1 DSP offer?

The integrated digital sound processor (DSP) in the Eton Stealth 7.1 DSP offers extensive sound optimization capabilities. With 10 fully parametric EQ bands per output and 21 per input, the DSP allows for precise adjustments in the frequency range. Options include high/low shelf filters and adjustable time delay up to 20 ms in 0.02 ms steps. Phase inversion can be set to 0 or 180° per channel. Additionally, the DSP provides features such as assignable inputs and outputs and a mixer, enabling detailed customization to individual listening requirements. The DSP significantly contributes to versatility and sound quality.

How does the Eton Stealth 7.1 DSP affect the sound experience?

The Eton Stealth 7.1 DSP positively influences the sound experience through its technical features. The ultra-low total harmonic distortion (THD+N) of 0.003% at 5 Watts RMS minimizes sound distortion and ensures a crystal-clear audio experience. The integration of HiRes streaming supports high-resolution audio formats on both Android and iOS devices, making it ideal for audio enthusiasts who value sound quality. With individually adjustable EQ bands and extensive DSP functions, the audio output can be personalized, making each listening experience unique and enhancing the enjoyment of music in both vehicles and stationary systems.
