The T1000-4ad combines the sonic characteristics of a Class-A design with the efficiency of a Class-D design in one remarkable package. The superior sound quality is made possible by the implementation of dynamic switching frequency control. The addition of constant power circuitry provides optimized output power at a range of impedances. Rockford Fosgate developed Class-Bd to deliver brute power for driving low-frequency subwoofers, and now Class-Ad offers high fidelity in a full-range configuration.
