• 2-way convertible component / coaxial system: 5 x 7 / 6 x 8-inch (125 x 180 mm) woofer and 1-inch (25 mm) silk dome tweeter
  
• There are times when an installation requires a separate woofer and tweeter, and others when a coaxial speaker is the better solution. With the Evolution® C3 Convertible Component Systems, the same product can be used in both configurations, delivering excellent audio performance and quality in each application.
  
• Many people mistakenly believe that an oval speaker is not as powerful as a round one, which leads to many 5.25" speakers being installed in 5" x 7" openings. JL Audio has invested a lot of time and effort into developing fantastic sounding speakers that fit into oval openings and are guaranteed to deliver the same performance as JL's 6.5" (165mm) round speaker systems. So don't make the mistake of losing cone area and efficiency by going with a smaller round speaker,  these ovals are just as impressive as JL's round format systems.
  
• The C3-570 system consists of 5 x 7 / 6 x 8-inch (125 x 180 mm) component woofers with oversized 1.2-inch (30.5 mm) voice coils, mineral-filled polypropylene cones and injection-molded polymer baskets. The woofer construction benefits from JL Audio's extensive experience in woofer design and advanced modeling systems.
  
• The C3 tweeters are built with 1-inch silk dome diaphragms that deliver powerful, extended on- and off-axis response.
• Flush and "surface" mounting fixtures are included to suit a variety of installation requirements. They can also be mounted coaxially to the woofers using the brackets provided.
  
• The C3 crossovers are compact and made of high-quality components, including Mylar® capacitors and segmented air core coils. Four levels of tweeter damping and three levels of midrange presence adjustment are available for twelve possible combinations!
  
• Woofer midrange grilles are not available for this product.
