The ACP112LG-TW1 from JL Audio is a 12 inch (30 cm) active enclosure subwoofer, which is characterized by high performance and impressive sound. • With PowerWedge+™ systems, the power is integrated directly into the subwoofer system. This subwoofer system, which includes a proprietary Class-D amplifier, uses JL's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to get the maximum performance from its specially developed, extremely low impedance TW1 driver. By combining direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section, DCD™ Amplifiers free from conventional switching power supplies, allowing them to produce remarkable power with unprecedented efficiency.
• This subwoofer system takes advantage of the power and insanely small enclosure requirements of the TW1 subwoofer and is designed to deliver amazing sub-bass from a cabinet just 235mm deep. Its low-profile cabinet design has been carefully engineered for the optimal, ventilated cabinet orientation for the 12TW1 -Drivers tuned and refined through extensive listening in practice.
• Integration into OEM and aftermarket head units is a breeze thanks to a variety of input options and automatic power-on capability (via signal sensing or DC offset sensing).
• Also included is a low-pass filter with variable frequency (50-200 Hz) and a switch to control the output polarity.
• By adding an optional RBC-1 remote control (sold separately) you can  Control subwoofer levels directly from the driver's seat.
• A quick-disconnect power connector makes it easy to remove the subwoofer when you need the extra space.
• Note: DCD™ Amplified systems use very specific components. Never use a DCD™ Amplifier or the associated subwoofer(s) with incompatible, non-DCD™ products. Otherwise the warranty will be void and serious damage may occur.
