JL Audio RD900/5

The RD900/5 from JL Audio is a powerful 5-channel amplifier that serves as a complete system solution for your audio equipment. With 900 watts, it is capable of driving a complete audio system consisting of a subwoofer and four satellite systems. JL Audio's exclusive NexD™ Switching technology allows the RD900/5 to offer 70 watts of crystal clear sound into 4 ohms for the main channels and 500 watts of robust power for a subwoofer system. In addition, it offers a range of studio-quality signal processing features and is equipped with 12 dB/octave high-pass filters for the main channels as well as dedicated low-pass filters for its subwoofer channel. So it is a compact amplifier that combines high-end audio quality and flexibility in a single unit.

• The top panel of the RD900/5 houses a range of studio-quality signal processing features, all hidden beneath a removable protective cover.
• Each main channel pair is equipped with a 12 dB/octave high-pass filter and a dedicated low-pass filter for its subwoofer channel. All three crossovers offer continuous frequency selection from 50 to 500 Hz for precise filtering.
• The differentially balanced dual-range inputs are also on board and can accept most input voltage levels.
• An automatic switch-on function (via signal sampling or DC offset sampling) ensures maximum versatility.
  
• LED clipping indicators are also standard on each channel section. This completely new, innovative feature allows you to quickly and precisely adjust the amplifier's input sensitivity settings without the need for special equipment.
• The RD900/5 features a durable black powder-coated finish and a top-mounted dual-color LED light strip that indicates overall status and condition.
• With an additional RBC-1 remote control (sold separately) you can  conveniently control the subwoofer output remotely from the driver's seat.
