The BassPro 8 from JBL is an 8" (20cm) active enclosure subwoofer that should not be missing from any car audio system. Despite its compact size, this subwoofer delivers stunning performance. Equipped with a 100W RMS Class D amplifier and an 8" (200 mm) subwoofer, this combination provides distortion-free and deep bass, even at high output levels. - JBL BassPro 8 Slot-Port Enclosure
- The slot port enclosure from JBL was developed by the JBL engineering team and "tuned" to the optimal frequency. The enclosure material is MDF (medium-density fiberboard) to minimize resonances and unwanted noise. The lightweight yet rigid polypropylene low-frequency diaphragm ensures clean reproduction and outstanding durability, whether you are playing in a cozy listening room or at high volume.
- Built-in Class D amplifier with 100 watts RMS
- The built-in amplifier of the JBL subwoofer system offers electronics that are tailored and optimized to the characteristics of the woofer and the acoustics of the enclosure. The Class D operation also means that the amplifier runs cooler and draws less power from the vehicle's electrical system.
- JBL RBC Wired Remote Control
- The wired RBC remote control (optional) is easy to install and can be mounted for convenient volume control from the driver's seat. It is available separately on the JBL website.
- Oversized protective brackets
- The oversized protective brackets secure the subwoofer against loose cargo in the trunk and significantly enhance the appearance of the BassPro 8.
