    The SoundQubed QP-TH25 titanium super tweeter (horn tweeter) delivers crystal clear highs at competition-level volume. It features a high-strength motor and a compact design that offers many mounting options to fit into your system design. The QP-TH25 works well as part of a pro audio system in conjunction with the QP Series 6.5" or 8" mid-woofers.

    The QP-TH25 tweeter has a lightweight but rigid 25mm titanium diaphragm. Titanium is a very lightweight material and has less resonance than aluminum, so it can reproduce high frequencies with pinpoint accuracy. The small diaphragm also better withstands extreme acoustic stress, such as in sound pressure level (SPL) competitions. This 75W RMS titanium super tweeter covers the highest frequencies in the range of human hearing from about 4kHz to about 25kHz.

    The design of the horn is a very important part of the sound distribution of a super tweeter. The "bullet" design of the QP-TH25 focuses high frequencies more directly than a silk dome tweeter. In addition, the shape of the horn contributes to a uniform dispersion across the entire range of the speaker. This makes them suitable for wide-dispersion multiple speaker arrays in an outdoor sound system.

    Silk domes have a wider, less directional dispersion pattern. This wider pattern makes the "pointing" of a silk dome tweeter more forgiving than that of a omnidirectional tweeter. Silk dome tweeters are generally less robust, so you shouldn't use them against a powerful power amplifier.
