2-way coaxial speaker system

Thanks to AlpineF#1Status Trickle-Down technology and materials, these Hi-Res Audio-certified speakers deliver the highest audiophile sound quality with frequencies up to 40 kHz in your vehicle. The 2-way coaxial system consists of 170-mm woofers with integrated 40-mm tweeters.

Carbon fiber membranes

All speakers in this set (as well as the "Alpine Status" subwoofer HDZ-110) use diaphragms made of carbon composite material to achieve a completely consistent tonal character - resulting in excellent overtones. Carbon is very light and stiff, which leads to high dynamics and low distortion. The backed-carbon-composite technology is also used in racing car chassis due to its low weight and high crash resistance.
