The Prima APBX 8 DS is a high-performance 8" (20cm) enclosure subwoofer from Audison that combines compact dimensions with excellent sound quality. Its 500 W peak power and 250 W continuous operation as well as the 8.5 liter housing volume guarantee dynamic and rich bass, even at high excursion. The 4 + 4 ohm sub-box uses a dual voice coil configuration, and the BASS BOOST of the AP bit amplifier ensures even better sound quality. Other features, such as the high-quality workmanship with water-repellent, pressed paper and ferrite magnets, make the Prima APBX 8 DS a reliable choice. CHARACTERISTICS

• Ultra-thin housing (131 mm) with perfectly sealed design (5.16 inches)
  tuned to make full use of the APS 8 D driver.
• The 2S² design (2 Sides/2 Sounds) offers the possibility to choose between the following options
  Down-firing assembly to increase the low frequencies and
  Install up-firing to get more punch and definition.
• Leveling feet with Velcro inserts for secure hold with the
  carpet and is also easy to remove.
• SSP (Sub Smart Plug) has both traditional pressure contacts and a
  Plug-and-play terminal block for easy configuration of impedance as required
  and enables quick unlocking.
• Rounded corners allow easy positioning in the trunk and serve as
  amplification and to reduce cabinet resonances.
• Specially developed cone-dust cap-basket geometry, which
  long linear deflection capacity (9 mm, one-sided).
• Massive driver motor assembly, optimized with FEM (finite element method)
  modeling) for perfect control at high deflections.
• Water-repellent, pressed paper, 8-inch cone, with a developed profile
  with FEM simulation and optimized with the Klippel Scan Vibrometer. Specially designed to be combined with either AP1 D mono or AP4.9.

  function and the integrated parametric equalizer of the built-in DSP.
