JL Audio FIX-86

The FIX-86 is a 6-channel DSP from JL Audio that stands out for its uniqueness in the market. This OEM integration DSP with automatic digital EQ and 4+2 channel output delivers excellent sound from new source devices while retaining OEM fader control. With its technologically advanced features, the FIX-86 allows factory-fresh outputs to be automatically corrected before the signal is summed and the EQ adjusted. Calibration is simple and only takes about 30 seconds, with no special equipment required. With its powerful 24-bit DSP processor and two 1/3-octave equalizers on board, the FIX-86 automatically combines complex factory audio outputs into a flat, full-range stereo signal.

  Unlike typical OEM interface products, the FiX™ 86 automatically time-delayed factory outputs before signal summing and EQ correction.
• Calibration takes just a single button press and about 30 seconds, and no special equipment is required.
• With a powerful 24-bit DSP processor and two 1/3-octave equalizers on board, complex 2-way, 3-way and 4-way factory audio outputs are automatically combined and level-adjusted to produce a flat, full-range stereo signal. Differentially balanced inputs accept virtually any OEM analog audio signal, from low-voltage line level to high-power amplified speaker outputs (up to 30V RMS).
  
• Calibration is initiated with just a single button press and takes only about 30 seconds, with no special equipment required!
  
• If you have a PC with the software TüN™ via USB, you can also access a complete set of diagnostic panels that display the frequency response of the input signals as well as the corrected outputs. Adjustments to input polarity, muting and filtering can be made, and new calibrations can also be initiated from the PC. By clicking on the "TUNE" tab of the TüN interface™ you can  also access a pair of user-adjustable 10-band graphic equalizers to fine-tune the output signals.
  
• Output options include two RCA jacks (4V RMS) or a digital (JLId) output supporting PCM audio with 24-bit/48 kHz resolution.
  
• Activation methods include 12 volt or automatic (signal/DC offset detection) as well as a dedicated remote power-on output to activate your aftermarket devices.
  
• Optional digital remote control DRC-100 (sold separately) to activate the master volume control from the driver's seat.
• Limited input signals and the overall status are also reported via the DRC-100's multi-colored status LED.
