The Der Dieci DBA 201 F from Hertz is an 8-inch active enclosure subwoofer in a super flat, sealed design. The enclosure has been optimized using FEM simulation to maximize the performance of the 8-inch driver while minimizing space requirements. The continuous power handling is rated at 220 watts RMS, while the peak power is 440 watts. Features include a massive ferrite magnet with high flux density, a 38.6 mm copper voice coil, and a diaphragm made of pressed paper. The system's impedance is specified at 0.4 ohms. An integrated 24 dB/octave low-pass crossover filter allows for a variable crossover frequency between 50 and 150 Hz. Other technical components include a subsonic filter at 15 Hz, an adjustable bass boost of 0 to 6 dB at 45 Hz, and a phase switch for 0 or 180 degrees.
