The iLX-705D is the official successor to the very popular Digital Media Station iLX-702D. We have further improved the 2-DIN car radio with numerous new features, greater compatibility, an HD-resolution single screen and the world's first Class-D amplifier in a head unit.

18 cm (7-inch) WXGA touchscreen with HD resolution

The iLX-705D features the best 7-inch display we’ve ever built into a 2-DIN unit. This 7-inch HD touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 720p (WXGA) and delivers amazingly vivid colors and contrast — making icons, menus and visual content on your dashboard appear even clearer. You’ll be able to read small text or symbols on navigation maps much more easily with this high-resolution display.

Wireless Apple CarPlay

Für noch mehr Komfort bietet das iLX-705D die drahtlose Verbindung per Apple CarPlay Wireless mit dem iPhone. Damit können iPhone Nutzer im Fahrzeug das Telefon in der Hosentasche stecken lassen und bequem Anrufe tätigen, Kurznachrichten abrufen und beantworten, Musik-Apps nutzen und sich sogar navigieren lassen. Der Zugriff auf Apple CarPlay erfolgt über den kapazitiven Touchscreen oder die Sprachwahltaste zur Aktivierung der Siri-Sprachsteuerung.

2x USB ports

The Alpine iLX-705D provides the media variety you need on your travels with two USB ports. With the USB ports on the back of the device you can, for example, connect a mobile device for charging, while with the second USB port you can connect a USB stick or a hard drive to access audio and video files.

Android Auto compatible

Android Auto was primarily designed to increase safety on the road and works with the Google Assistant (USB cable as well as a Bluetooth®-connection required - Android ™ -smartphone running version 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant from Android Auto, simply say "OK Google" or select the microphone button. With the Google Assistant in Android Auto, users can play their favorite music, get directions to their destination, interact with smart-home devices, and reply to text messages.

The world's first head unit with an integrated Class-D amplifier

The iLX-705D is, alongside the new Halo9 and Halo11, the world's first Head Unit for the aftermarket to feature an integrated Class-D amplifier delivering 4x 50 watts of power. This amplifier provides excellent high-end sound reproduction with extremely reduced noise and virtually unmeasurable phase shifts. The main advantage of Class-D amplifier technology is the high efficiency of approx. 90 %, compared to 50–70 % for Class-AB amplifiers. A new cooling concept with internal heatsinks ensures that your Alpine Halo11 always maintains the correct operating temperature – and plays your favorite music.

Enjoy excellent sound quality

With a parametric 56-band equalizer, the digital crossover, a digital 6-channel time correction and several Bass Engine SQ- presets- and MediaXpander-sound-tuning-options, you have excellent options available to perfectly tune your Alpine Halo11 or connected amplifier-/speaker systems. But that's not all: The Alpine car stereo ilX-705D is Hi-Res Audio certified and can decode and play Hi-Res audio files up to 96 kHz / 1.536 kbps from uncompressed USB sources in formats such as FLAC, WAV and APE.

Wide variety of entertainment options

The completely newly developed 1.5-way DAB+/FM/AM tuner enables switching between DAB and FM and lets you enjoy seamless radio reception without interruptions. In addition to the expanded USB video playback formats (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV), the Alpine Halo11 offers many additional entertainment options. With the built-in Bluetooth module you can use audio streaming from your phone, and an HDMI input allows you to connect an external video playback device.

Vehicle data bus connection

If your vehicle is equipped with parking sensors, you can continue to use these convenient features with your iLX-705D. Alpine offers many vehicle data bus interfaces to connect your Alpine iLX-705D to your vehicle's data bus system. This enables compatibility with your vehicle's steering wheel remote control, the display of climate control settings, and the display of parking sensors.

Parking Assistance Technology

The optional reversing camera systems offer even more safety with state-of-the-art camera technology. The reversing camera is activated automatically when reversing and mutes the audio signal, so you can still hear the parking sensors. You not only have a clear view to the rear, but also special guide lines. You can even enable a trailer-hitch guide line to make coupling your trailer much easier. For quick camera access while driving, a camera direct button is provided.

External wireless volume control with camera activation

The separately available control knob RUE-BK01 originates from the Alpine Halo series 2022 and can also be used with the iLX-705D (cannot be attached to the unit). This gives you the option to place the remote control wherever you want in the vehicle. No additional cabling is required. Turning the knob adjusts the volume of the main unit. Pressing the knob can activate the rear-view camera on the screen while driving.
Note: This control button is not active when the Apple CarPlay Wireless feature is enabled.

Bluetooth Hi-Res audio streaming

With LDAC, you can stream your audio content, including high-resolution (Hi-Res) audio, over Bluetooth at a maximum bitrate of 990 kbps. The wireless Bluetooth connection to your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled digital audio players is made possible by the built-in high-end LDAC standard. This makes this Alpine Head Unit ideal for Hi-Res audio and streaming services with high sound quality. The transmission bitrate is constantly adjusted with this technology to ensure a stable connection in critical environments.
