The Signum SXE8D2 from ESX is an 8-inch subwoofer that impresses with its high-quality craftsmanship and versatile applications. Equipped with an aluminum die-cast construction, it offers high stability and prevents material vibrations. The included, pre-assembled protective grille with a hexagonal honeycomb pattern not only protects the cone but also scores visually. Its dual voice coils with 2+2 ohm impedance allow flexible use with various amplifiers. With a power handling of 250/500 watts (RMS/Max.) and a dual magnet drive, the subwoofer is designed for impressive sound experiences. The successful appearance of the SIGNUM SXE subwoofers includes not only the pre-assembled protective grilles but also the high-quality aluminum die-cast baskets. But they don’t just look good; they also significantly improve the stability of the construction. There are practically no vibrations in the material.

An important aspect of subwoofers is the drive, which is also very generous in the SXE models: all three sizes use heavy dual magnets that drive long-wound dual voice coils with 2+2 ohm impedance. Thanks to the dual voice coils used, the subwoofers are very versatile: whether on a 1-ohm stable monoblock or on conventional 2- or 4-channel amplifiers, the woofers fit very well with almost all amplifiers on the market due to their variably connectable impedance.
