Alpine presents "Alpine Status": using the same technical concepts and design elements as the 3rd generation of our "AlpineF#1Status" system, Alpine has developed the "Alpine Status" system with extremely high resolution. This fulfills the goal and experience of offering high-resolution in-car sound at an attractive price. "Alpine Status" is also extremely flexible: all components can be purchased and used as "Stand-Alone" solutions.

The HDP-D90 DSP amplifier features an internal sampling rate of 192kHz/32-bit and an ultra-wide audio bandwidth of 10 Hz-110 kHz to reproduce the sound in its intended high-resolution specification with which it was produced. Through targeted measures, such as a copper-plated enclosure, the signal-to-noise ratio is increased to >110 dB and noise and distortion during playback are minimized. In line with the internal Master Clock Management System in the AlpineF#1Status DSP, the "Alpine Status" DSP HDP-D90 contains a crystal oscillator clock generator at the core of the unit that tracks and aligns digital information to eliminate jitter (timing errors) and reproduce sound precisely.

The DSP offers multiple input options for a flexible system setup. For vehicles where the factory radio cannot be replaced, the DSP provides 12 high-level inputs that allow the factory radio to be retained. For those who want to replace their factory radio, the DSP has optical and analog inputs to which the „Alpine Status“ Head Unit HDS-990 as well as another aftermarket radio can be connected. The DSP also functions as a standalone music source and can receive music directly from a smartphone via Bluetooth® Wireless Streaming.

The DSP amplifier HDP-D90 offers over 12 channels (8x 50 W + 4x 80 W) that can be used to build a complete sound system. 10 channels of the preamp outputs can be used to add additional "Alpine Status" amplifiers for more power or to expand the sound system.

Hi-Res Audio DSP Amplifier

The 14-channel DSP amplifier HDP-D90 is Hi-Res Audio certified and simply sounds fantastic. It is also extremely versatile. It can be used together with the "Alpine Status" media player HDS-990 or in standalone operation with any factory or aftermarket radio. Thanks to its many input and output options, this DSP amplifier offers countless passive and active configuration possibilities.

12-channel speaker inputs

The most notable feature of the HDP-90 is the 12-channel speaker inputs with matrix input summing. This allows the HDP-D90 to be connected to most existing factory sound systems (even large multi-channel OEM systems), replacing all components after the head unit in the audio chain. That way you can build your desired sound system while retaining your vehicle's original radio/navigation system. It also features 2-channel RCA inputs, optical TOSLINK and coaxial inputs, as well as Bluetooth audio (with the included Bluetooth dongle).

Active & Passive Outputs

You can use the DSP amplifier in a passive configuration by connecting external amplifiers to the 10-channel preamp outputs, or you can connect it directly to your vehicle's speakers and subwoofers by using the built-in 14-channel amplifier (with 8x 50 watts + 4x 80 watts @ 4 ohms, 14.4 V). You can also bridge the 80-watt outputs to 2x 160 watts.

Professional sound-tuning software

The included sound-tuning software makes it very easy to set up and tune your "Alpine Status" system. You can choose from preconfigured setups for input summing and output configuration that are designed to be as simple as possible. Tune each channel with the parametric 31-band EQ, the 3-way X-Over, and digital time correction using the brand-new software interface that lets you see all settings at a glance.

"Alpine Status" includes many components that, in terms of power and performance, should ideally be used as a complete system to achieve the intended high resolution for outstanding, audiophile sound quality. However, the individual components can also be purchased separately to assemble a custom system according to your preferences.

Matrix input summing

With the matrix input summing, you can combine multiple speaker channels on the input side to reuse them in various configurations on the output side. This allows you to continue using your original radio with its fixed speaker output channels while building a completely different amplifier and speaker system in your vehicle.

High-quality analog circuit

The operational amplifier is a key component for the performance and sound quality of analog audio circuits. RUX-C810 External control unit

The external control unit RUX-C810 is sold separately and is required for standalone operation of the HDP-P90 DSP amplifier (when used without the HDS-990). It provides basic functions such as volume control, source selection, preset selection, etc. It is very compact and can be easily installed into the dashboard or center console.
