The QP-MR6.5 Pro Audio Mid Range Speakers open up new possibilities for car audio system design. Modern stereo systems and interiors make it difficult to install car speakers beyond the original equipment locations recessed into door panels, dashboards and pillars. Traditional component systems and coaxial speakers are not efficient enough to match the performance of a high-performance subsystem.

Midrange speakers typically produce mid-bass tones in the range of 500Hz-4kHz. This is arguably the most important frequency range as it encompasses most musical instruments and vocals. Since your ears are most sensitive to this midrange, the speakers can play with lower power and still produce good, loud sounds. Due to their limited range, traditional midrange speakers often sound dull and flat and need the support of subwoofers and tweeters to produce full-bodied sound.
