Alpine presents "Alpine Status": using the same technical concepts and design elements as the 3rd generation of our "AlpineF#1Status" system, and featuring extremely high resolution, Alpine has developed the "Alpine Status" system. The experience and goal of offering high-resolution in-car sound at an attractive price is thereby fulfilled. "Alpine Status" is also extremely flexible: all components can also be purchased and used as a "stand-alone" solution.

For audiophile music lovers who want to create an optimal sound system, "Alpine Status" offers a wide range of Hi-Res Audio-capable speakers. The 3-way component speakers HDZ-653S, with a high-resolution bandwidth of 55 Hz - 40 kHz, feature a 170 mm door woofer, a 96 mm midrange and a 40 mm slim-fit tweeter that can be easily installed in place of the vehicle's original tweeters. High-end speaker crossovers are also included in the set.

All speaker cones are made from the same carbon composite material to create a consistent sonic identity during playback. They closely match the look and feel of the AlpineF#1Status speakers and use a very similar construction and motor arrangement as well as the same materials for the highest sound quality.

Hi-Res Audio made accessible

"Alpine Status" includes, at an attractive price, many of the technologies, components, and materials from the AlpineF#1Status system to achieve ultra-precise music reproduction. It is designed to play music tracks in the 192 kHz / 24-bit format, which is the common format used by many online stores and streaming platforms. This high-res audio playback enables "Alpine Status" to create an intense in-car listening experience that conveys the feeling of an intimate, studio-quality recording session.

Slim-Fit 3-way speaker system

High-Res-Audio certified speakers deliver the highest audiophile sound quality up to 40 kHz in your vehicle. The 3-way system consists of 170 mm woofers, 96 mm midrange drivers and 40 mmSlim-Fit tweeters. In addition, high-end speaker crossovers are also included in the set.

Carbon fiber membranes

All speakers in this set (as well as the "Alpine Status" subwoofer HDZ-110) use carbon-composite cones to achieve a completely consistent sound signature - resulting in excellent overtones. Carbon is very light and stiff, which leads to high dynamics and low distortion. The Backed-Carbon-Composite technology is also used in race-car chassis because of its low weight and high crash resistance.

Double-ribbed edge

A further technology adopted from the AlpineF#1Status speakers: the dual-ribbed surround allows maximum cone excursion with excellent control and cone stability. This reduces sound distortion caused by cone wobble at higher volumes.

Slim-Fit-Tweeter

The included 40 mm Hi-Res Audio slim-fit tweeters simply sound fantastic and reproduce up to 40 kHz. They are significantly smaller than the HDZ-653 tweeters. Special attention was paid to easy installation. They also feature an integrated waveguide, an attached coupling volume, and a powerful neodymium magnet.

"Alpine Status" as a complete system

„Alpine Status“ features many components that, for optimal power and performance, should ideally be used together as a complete system to achieve the intended high resolution and deliver excellent, audiophile sound quality. The individual components can, however, also be purchased separately so you can assemble a customized system exactly to your preferences.

Audiophile speaker crossovers

The supplied 2-way crossovers are equipped with hand-selected high-end components and offer many adjustment options: You can set the midrange level from 0 dB to -3 dB, the treble level to +3 dB, 0 dB or -3 dB, and set the woofer crossover to either 12 dB/oct. or 6 dB/oct. The smoke-colored acrylic cover with the Alpine logo can be slid forward to access the screw terminals and jumper plugs.

Audiophile tweeter version

If you want to achieve the best possible sound quality and have room for a dedicated tweeter, we recommend using the audiophile HDZ-653 version. The 70 mm Hi-Res Audio ring radiator tweeters simply sound fantastic and reach up to 40 kHz. They feature a 25 mm carbon-fiber diaphragm that is tuned to blend perfectly with the midrange and the woofer to deliver a fully unified sonic identity. They also include an integrated waveguide, an attached coupling volume, and a powerful neodymium magnet.

Studio-quality specifications

"Alpine Status" achieves 192 kHz/24-bit playback, which is the 6.5-fold amount of data of a standard CD or common streaming services and exceeds the high-resolution standard specification of 96 kHz/24-bit found in most aftermarket sound solutions. This allows "Alpine Status" to capture and accurately reproduce details such as the artist's breath or a musician's subtle interaction with an instrument. This capability not only faithfully reproduces the artist's original intent but also creates a studio-like listening experience in your vehicle.
